Judy Rodman has over 50 years of vocal success as a top session singer, recording artist, stage & television performer, songwriter, studio producer, vocal coach and public speaker. She is a member of SAG-AFTRA, BMI. AFM Local 257, ACM, NATS Named ‘Best Vocal Coach” 2011 by Nashville Music Pros and "Vocal Coach in Residence, August 2013" by TC Helicon's VoiceCouncil Magazine, Judy teaches singers and speakers globally online. Her students and recording clients have appeared on The Today Show, Letterman, Ellen Degeneres, The Voice, American Idol, America's Got Talent, Grammys, CMA, ACM & MTV Awards Shows, New York Times Best Seller list. As public speaker, Judy gives keynote speeches, seminars and workshops on the voice and vocal production. She is the host and writer of ‘All Things Vocal’ blog (almost 2 million views) and podcast (currently averaging 1000 listens per episode). Judy is a published author with several vocal training courses; most recently ‘Singing In The Studio’ on Kindle and paperback. Her articles have appeared in many books, magazines and websites that serve the music industry and voice matters. Judy's songwriting credits include: her hit single "She Thinks That She'll Marry", a BMI Millionaire award for “One Way Ticket (Because I Can), "Missing Child" featured on on the CNN website, 'Gambler Of Us All' on the soundtrack (2015) of the Robert Duvall movie "Wild Horses", ‘Somethin Like That’ on an episode (2020) of the Amazon sci-fy series ‘The Expanse’, and ‘Life Without ED’, written with renowned eating disorder expert and author Jenni Schaefer. As songwriter, music producer and cast recording producer she collaborated with Darren J. Butler on three contemporary musicals "Runaway Home", "We The People" and “Take My Seat”. In the studio, Judy has decades of credits singing on hit records, arranging and produce tracks and/or vocals. Among her successful productions: Emil Bishaw's 2010 album garnered a single sitting at #1 on indie charts for a record 9 weeks, Emil winning Music News Weekly’s "New AC Artist" award. Her production of Jenny Tolman’s first album resulted in national and international acclaim for her as finalist in 2013 International Songwriting Competition and Unsigned Artists awards. Judy co-wrote and produced vocals on Jenni Schaefer’s song ‘Life Without Ed’, which became the title of her breakout book on eating disorders. Jenni is now an internationally renowned public speaker, performer and author. As an artist previously on MTM Records with chart topping singles, national tours, performances on major TV shows, winner of “ACM New Female Vocalist”, Judy's latest release was the 2015 project "Here We Are" which she wrote, produced and performed with her husband as “John and Judy Rodman”.
